Our Level System
5 level Tiers has the primary goal of providing team members a path of career growth and achievement. This incentivizes our team to keep skills sharp and expand their craft as we maintain our goal of offering the best male hair service in the Upper Peninsula.
In return, we're able to offer several service options for our guests to better meet their needs. Guests can choose the Stylist/Barber that compliments their desire for expertise, budget or additional service options.
We work as a team - feel free to book services with as many stylists to your liking!
A promotion to each level is based on a number of factors. This includes: demand on time, skill, experience and education. As a stylist moves up in levels, you will see an increase in the costs of their services. This is reflective of the investment they have made in their professional development and higher quality of services they bring. Guests may choose any level stylist that best fits their needs and budget.

More experience delivers more options. Seasoned vets bring advanced techniques and services.

Salon masters get overbooked. Tier pricing helps keep them consistently available for you to work with your favorite.
Tier 1
(Apprentice) In a one to two year apprenticeship program. Generally not bookable online until trained. May take a little longer for a service until time standards are met. Discounted prices reflect the longer times, and ongoing training.
Tier 2
New to the industry. Stylists/barbers go through a training program. Haircuts are checked by an experienced stylist/barber. They are eager to learn and passionate about the industry. Prices will reflect the extended times needed. We appreciate your help and patience in helping them reach their goals.
Tier 3
Many salon guests are looking for excellent service and style but also while staying within a budget. These stylists/Barbers have graduated from cosmetology, barbering school or apprenticeship. They have completed our training program and are well on their way to a successful career in the industry. They are still building their books as well as continuing their education.
Tier 4
These stylists/barbers have accumulated more experience behind the chair. They’re problem solvers, proficient in advanced hair cutting techniques, and committed to their ongoing education to keep them at the forefront of new practices and trends.
Tier 5
These employees are seasoned stylists and masters in their field. They are often booked way in advance and are responsible for most of the training in the salon. These stylists mentor all Associates.
